The Holy Trinity

By definition, The word Trinity comes from a union of two words, Tri, which means three and the word Unity. In other words, it means a union of three. Mainstream Christianity teaches that there exists a Father, a Son and a Holy Spirit. All combine to make only one God. The Apostle John states, at John 17:3, that our salvation depends on knowing God. But, oddly enough, though he mentions that we must know the Son, he makes no mention of knowing the Holy Spirit.

Bible Truths

If it is true, that the truth will set you free, then, it is also true that a lie will serve to be snare. God wants us to know and follow the truth, but a lie can set our course of enlightenment astray. It's as if were given specific directions to end up at a destination, but someone secretly added false directions to our route, so that we would end up lost. The attack of the Enemy of Man, is one that is subtle. If he were more direct about his intentions, his attack against man would be noticeable. Realize this, to loose God's favor, our enemy does not have to tear us away from all truth, or make us turn from away God. All that needs to be done is to get us to believe a lie about God, and his purpose for us. Remember, it is not our intention, it's our understanding of God that's being influenced, for all that know their is a God want to serve him. Without accurate knowledge of God, it would be very difficult to please him. Our job then, is to sort it all out individually. My goal is to provide you with insightful Bible facts that will help to bring out the truth, as mentioned by the Apostle Paul in a letter to Timothy, at 2Tim 3:16.

And another thing, John mentions that Jesus was dispatched by his Father. How is it that Jesus, the Son, can be sent to do anything if he too was God? Shouldn't that verse read that he just came on his volition? Jesus, himself states, at John 5:30, the he cannot take the initiative to do even his own will. I ask you, does this look like an equal partnership or more like a master and slave relationship? Even Mathew calls Jesus the servant of God, at Mat 12:18. At John 5:36, Jesus says that his Father gave him a job to do. One of his tasks was to make known God to his followers, as shown at John 17:26. The disciples of Jesus were Jewish, shouldn't they already know about God? Moreover, Jesus even tells us that his teachings did not originate with him, at John 7:16. If not him then who? Jesus explains that the origins of his teachings are from his Father, God himself, at John 8:26. Can Jesus be more clear, when he states, The Father is greater than I, at John 14:28?

Father, Son. That's It

He who receives me, receives also the one who sent me, claims Jesus, at Mat 10:40. It has always only been  just the Father and the Son. Even before all of creation, Jesus says, at John17:24, you loved me before the creation of the world. This is the kind of love between Father and Son, not a love of self. To prove it, let's read the ladder part of John 17:23 "you have loved them, just as you have loved me." 2 John 9 shows that anyone who stays in the teaching has both Father and Son. "But now they have seen and hated both me and my Father," claims Jesus, at john 15:24. As you have clearly read, the Apostles never mentioned anything about the Holy Spirit.
